Delci soli, ki izhajajo iz oceanov, so obarvani modro, delci mineralnega prahu, ki jih vetrovi dvignejo iz pu\u0161\u010dav, so rumeni, delci dima, predvsem iz po\u017earov, pa bele barve. Mo\u010dni vetrovi, ki so del ve\u010djih vremenskih sistemov, lahko prenesejo delce preko velikih razdalj.
